Fullness of Joy

by Jacob Dunbar

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore Psalm 16:11

Oh to sit here in your embrace

The magnificent splendor of seeing your face

The attacks of shame the past disgrace

Melt away as I see and taste

All else fades when I look up at you

There’s no better sight no better view

There is nothing to say nothing to do

You love me so much and I love you too

David said to taste and see

But words can’t express what you mean to me

This is my calling to be filled with glee

Wrapped in your arms for eternity

Fullness of joy can’t even express

To be in your presence Your holiness

No more fear no more stress

Total contentment completely blessed

No greater love has been manifest

Sins removed far as east from the west

No more striving completely at rest

Known and loved I lean back in your chest
